Power Smart Loan

Homeowners Can Be More Energy Efficient with Increased Power Smart Loan
The maximum borrowing amount of Manitoba Hydro's Power Smart Residential Loan increases from $5000 to $7500 in February 2006. Power Smart Residential Loans are available to Manitoba Hydro customers for renovations that will improve the energy efficiency of their homes. The interest for this loan is very low and home owners can pay back the loan by adding a small amount to their hydro bill.
